March 14

Catonsville

Rock Painting! We will be gathering to paint rocks! The plan is to have a station for younger kiddos with paintbrushes and water and "real" paint supplies for older kiddos and adults. Supplies will be provided but may be limited depending on number of participants. Feel free to bring your own rocks, paints, etc! You can either keep what you paint or hide them in nature for others to find.

Tire Park Play - Lets play at the tire park at the Hilton area of Patapsco! There is also a small sensory trail and nature center here that we can check out, if open this day. There is a $2 per vehicle entry fee through the end of March.

Brookside Gardens Explore - The tulips are beautiful at Brookside Gardens this time of year! We will explore all that the gardens have to offer, including the children's garden, japanese style garden and two conservatories. Entrance is free and the entire garden is stroller friendly.

May 9

Brighton Dam

Azalea Garden Explore - The azaleas at the Brighton Dam typically reach their peak bloom right around Mother's Day. We will walk throughout the entire garden, admiring the colors and stopping in the pavilions. If there is time we may also venture across the street to the playground. The path throughout the garden has a natural surface so off-road strollers are recommended.

May 23

Laurel

Strawberry Picking - The strawberry picking is wonderful at Gorman Farm! There is only a 2-3 week window for prime picking so we will keep an eye on the farm reports as the event gets closer. In the past strawberries have been $10/lb. There are also small tractors, bikes and other ride-on toys that are a big hit with little ones.

Held every other Wednesday from 10-12 am.
